Little Oberon in Fish Creek is a relaxed cafe that blends local artistry with everyday indulgence. Located right on Falls Road, it’s a spot where the community drifts in for good coffee, unhurried chats, and a quiet browse among the nearby gallery’s collection of local ceramics and paintings.

The atmosphere feels thoughtfully laid-back but with a quirky edge—inside, you'll find a mix of handcrafted pottery and art pieces that shape a warm, inviting backdrop. Visitors often seem to settle either inside the spacious, art-filled rooms or outside where there’s casual seating to enjoy the fresh country air.

Coffee here hits the mark for those who appreciate a solid flat white or chai latte that pairs perfectly with their ever-fresh pastries like Swedish scrolls, carrot muffins, and banana bread. Locals tend to pop in mid-morning to mid-afternoon, whether cycling the rail trail or pausing during a countryside drive, making it an approachable stop on a day out.

The menu stretches beyond coffee, with simple but thoughtfully made items like pies, sandwiches, and sweet treats such as blondies and cinnamon buns. While the pastries tend to draw repeat visits, the food suits anyone looking for well-crafted café fare without fuss. Customer experiences suggest the owners are warm and attentive, even quick to offer a hand if needed, reinforcing the friendly neighborhood vibe.

Overall, Little Oberon fits neatly into Fish Creek’s slower pace. It’s a place where both locals and visitors can linger over a good brew, discover local art, or grab a light meal without feeling rushed, particularly on sunny days or when touring nearby sights.

Such a lovely experience that we went back again the next day. Pies and sandwiches were delicious, and we had one of the blondies, which was perfection. All so fresh and well made. I happened to get stung by a wasp (just one, to be clear — not swarming, and it is the countryside), and what really stood out was how kind and attentive the owners (I assume) were. They let me keep their antiseptic and checked in about it the next day. The spiced cacao was so unique and warming for winter. The art and books were a beautiful addition. Highly recommend this gem.

A very cute and quirky place in Fish Creek, with very pretty decore, service, and a nice collection of pastries. And they make an amazing coffee! We loved their carrot muffin and cinnamon bun.

This cafe was a standout in Fish Creek. On entering you're greeted with local artisan pottery and a mouth watering array of fresh baked cakes. Coffee was excellent...you can even buy the beans! We had a pie each...fairly average for price point. Seating areas inside and out were spacious. Service was attentive and friendly- best we've had on rail trail.

Beautiful little cafe, delicious pies and really great coffee. The sweet treats are nice too, we tried the red velvet melting moment and it was really delicious. Great place to stop on the way to or from the prom, and you can visit the Alison Lester gallery and the op shop next door as well. Can definitely recommend Little Oberon!

Great stopping point on the bike trail …… love the pies with plenty of different flavours from “boring steak” to “Thai chicken” any many more. We all enjoyed them. Outside or inside seating available. Great coffee and plenty muffin and slice choice …..recommend a stop.

Had a delicious take away coffee but what truly stood out were the muffins. The carrot cake muffin is incredible but the raspberry white chocolate muffin was the best I've ever had. Must stop on route to Wilson's prom.
